Some of you may have seen these pics on Facebook but here's a link for the one's that haven't. This project took me about 13 months and was completed back in April. I completely gutted the bathroom. The only things I hired out were getting my brother to finish the drywall (I don't mud nor sand) and I hired a guy up the road to tile my shower. I was going to tile it myself but my wife was 9 months pregnant and wanted it done right away...so you see the route I took. However, I did do all the plumbing, wiring, construction, planning, etc. Hope you enjoy. Just click on the link, then click on the dropdown arrow on the right side and select slideshow. You can go through them at your own pace. I think its about 70 pics. https://plus.google.com/photos/1177...s/5926736324955330529?authkey=CIGrhfqti6metAE
Awesome job, bud. Enjoyed looking through it all. Haven't seen those purple elbows you used coming out of the mixer valve before. I just did a 90 pex to pex on both sides when coming out of mine. Yours look much simpler. I can't wait to own a home that gives me the space you two have.
Thanks guys! I actually just started redoing our guest bath this week. I'm leaving the plasterboard up so that will save me time/money. Can't believe I'm starting another bathroom remodel and this close to hunting season! Thanks Matt. I picked those up just to have less joints to worry about. If I ever do have a leak, I'm screwed because you can only get to some of this plumbing from the shower side. I kept enough leftover tile in case something like that ever happens.
Looks good, I have to make sure my wife doesn't see this :what: Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Yes, that was the original plan and I framed the shower with that in mind. I'm content with the curtain right now and so is the wife. We might get one later on.
