Hunting today looked great wind died down just in time for 3 kids about 8 years old to come in and play swords under my tree stand. They never knew I was there one kid climbed a tree behind me and was eye level and still never saw me not very observant. It was about half hour before sunset too.

alright guys I need some advice, hunting in Holden (Central Mass). I havent hunted this stand alot this year its pretty residential but lots of deer. Now i know the rut is pretty much over but i still have the scent glands from the buck i shot on thanksgiving. I was thinking about putting them out since they still smell but wasnt sure if it would hurt my hunting. HELP please

I would definitely still use them I definitely don't think it could hurt. The deer are curious and will investigate anything deery. Go for it or you could send me one

The deer are basically focused on food now. Freeze em and save them for next year.

How are the Massachusetts hunters doing I'm basically done for the year. I'm up in Maine now with snowmobiling season about to start. Maybe sneak home for a couple more hunts. The season was ok saw a lot of deer never had a shot at a buck! Having my bow stolen really put a damper on the season. But on a positive note ill be shopping or a new one for next season. I probably saw close to 40-50 deer which is good but never had the opportunity to draw on something. Well there's always next year!!!!
