Maryland Sika DIY Public Hunt mid-October

    Newbie. Heading up too Maryland in October to do a DIY Sika hunt with a buddy. Buddy will get in some scouting since he is only 3 hours west. Have watched a bunch of videos. Those of you with experience what is your number one tip for hunting Sika? On this first trip I'll be happy to see one and super thankful if I can get an arrow in one. Camping near Vienna and hunting the Fishing Bay WMA.

    Bring lots of bug spray, thermocell. Lot of people hunting down there. Get in real early, spend the day, let others stir them up. I carried chest waders to cross water, some deep holes when tide is up.

    Maryland hunters looking...if I want to take a whitetail on the same hunt as the Sika hunt I'm guessing out edges of marsh would be better set up in the Fish Bay WMA? Any input greatly appreciated. just looking for general info not expecting specifics.
