anyone ever shoot any martin recurves, I have been browsing the traditional sections lately
like the dreamcatcher, mamba, hunter and the hatfield takedown

these are 450-600 range - what are custom bows selling for

All of those bows are renouned good shooters. I am partial to all but the Hatfield, just don't like the looks. I would like a Mamba quite a bit.

Martin makes some good recurves!! I've shot a few of them and really liked the smoothness In the draw. I think they were Hunters but not for sure. The price range you listed Is about right until you start adding extra's. Depends on the company too.

That's a pretty looking recurve Ryan. If I found the exact fit for my hand I'd pull the trigger on a Martin myself with the right poundage. Buying and looking for new bows Isn't as easy as I thought It would be, too many good ones out there.

Never shot the recurves but spent a little time the other day shooting the Savannah, I really enjoyed shooting this one. Sure was a heavy hitter!

Its been growing on me too. I been tossing around a new T/D bow, but the more I shoot this one the less I am seeing the need. This one is 55#, enough to hunt anything that I would pursue with trad gear.
