It will soon be that time of year again.
I'm sure some of you have your favorites even though the brackets are still a couple weeks or so away.

I'll be pulling for my Pitt Panthers, the current #1 team in the land and poised for thier best run at the NCAA championship yet.

Pitt is amazing, but I have a gut feeling they will flop in the big dance. IDK why.

I will root for any SEC team, but that being beyond hope...This year I will watch without a favorite really. Right now I am just rooting for UK to actually MAKE the tournament! lol

So long as Duke and UNC do NOT win it....I don't care whatsoever. Go Pitt for that matter, lol.

GO mizzou...if they can manage to beat OU and kansas in their next couple games, they will up around 4 or 5 nationally and ready to compete.

Maybe LSU will be able to make a good run at this year.

And if they beat Duke along the way again, that will only make it sweeter.

I'm a UConn fan. I'd love to see them get their 3rd national championship. It would be cool to see the men and women both win again! Who else has done that before? That said Pitt was too much physically in the paint. Calhoun will have to figure out a better way to defend. And that game a week ago monday? How open would you like your 3s to be?! UConn can't be that loose on D again.

UNC probably has the most talented team 1-7, but they have to defend. OU is an intriguing team and I wouldn't give their 2 losses a second look since the likely POY has been out. Uconn, Pitt and OU are allll capable of winning it all. There are a couple under the radar teams that, if they get on a hot streak, could make a run to Detroit. Teams like Clemson, Memphis, Wake or Louisville have all been streaky, but they each have some very big wins (Clemson/Wake=Duke, Louisville=Pitt, etc. In the end though, I'll have to go with UNC as the eventual national champion, they have 4 players who came back to win one and, much like last year, they're kind of coasting through the regular season often looking disinterested, we'll see a whole new UNC team come March.

One team I didn't mention and I'm not concerned with one bit, DUKE. They haven't been able to defend nor score on quicker teams for 40 minutes and, as has been the story the past 4-5 years, when the legs get tired and the threes stop falling, Duke quickly fades.

Its ashame your cats haven't really showed up recently in the head to head UNC-UK match ups ;)

I've watched more college basketball this year than I can remember. There have been some great games as of late, it seems like the #1 ranking is a jinx. Parity seems to be the theme with no real dominate team.

I will be watching and once again, hope that our local Gonzaga Bulldogs will make a run.
