I'm going to the file this under the "who gives a damn" folder. Y'all sound like a bunch of bickering old hens, talking to 14 year old about something they saw on facebook. No one is fast enough to outrun a lie, and if he did lie it's for attention. Getting it now I guess.
Most people believe he killed a buck, removed the rack, replaced it with the Kansas deer's rack, and then snapped the photos. I don't think there's any question it's a real deer or that he killed it, but it doesn't look like those antlers were on it when it died. Hence the misalignment of the rack on the skull and the fact that he's not picking up the head, thus not putting any weight or leverage on the rack.
Well if he did fake this buck, how would we know if he didn't fake any of his other bucks to get his record? Finds a dead 150" buck and says he shot that too? Will his record get taken away if he is ever found to be guilty?
Unfortunately, no. Not with his camera. Take a picture with your phone and Bingo, I can drop a patriot missile on your from the other side of the planet. He just used a lowly old camera.
Retracting statement, if he used that buck to land JLo now I care. I'm downloading photoshop as we speak.
He did a good job on coloring the rack and getting the ears to be in the right position. With the Rompola buck they said the ears were too low like he didn't sew it up right. Tough call but the racks do look too close
So..... can he no longer produce the dead head? Seems like a closed case if not. I agree Dan, great job on the coloring..
Producing the mount is easy - I'm sure it's got a skull plate in it just like any mount does. It's all but impossible to prove he didn't kill the deer without him admitting it. If you guys see me turn up with the King buck this fall please don't ask any questions.

There's another picture out there of the dead buck where the rack is so crooked on the dead buck's head that it's embarrassing. Even if you didn't know there was a controversy you'd think some one was joking around. The pictures that are posted here, you can even see where the scalp is cut, how the ears are not attached right. It's pathetic. On FB some noted the amazing lack of any trailcam pictures or sightings of this buck by other hunters in the area. That's not damning evidence but apparently others have wondered about this buck's authenticity for awhile.
First he's outed as a fraud and now you insult his taxidermy skills. Geez. Why don't you kick the guy while he's down.
JZ, when you get that King Buck this fall... text me a couple pics before you go public. I'll let you know if any adjustments need to be made.
Breaking News- Semi-Celebrity hunter Marc Anthony's wife has just filed for divorce. She said she's leaving him for a real man who can put meat in the freezer. Turns out Marc's brother possesses and uncanny ability to kill Does. In fact, more Does than anybody in the state of Illinois. Good luck you lovebirds.

First they have to prove he purchased the rack, if this is the case then I feel case closed. Right now we have an antler collector who once owned the rack and sold it, then an identical rack shows up on Marcs buck. He didn't sell it to Marc but I'd imagine there is some kind of paper trail.
