    For the brain trust here where on this map would you expect a dominant buck to bed. North is up.

    That depends on external factors not seen here; prevailing winds, cover, food, water... not to mention pressure. Finding a buck bedding area is about much more than topography.

    While agree with most of your statement finding potential bedding area's via maps can save you a lot of leg work. I know there is a buck bedded in this area and terrain guys know where to look and I was just trying to confirm my suspicions. Thanks

    I think you misunderstood my previous statement.
    I was merely asking for more information regarding the map, since all we can see is topography.
    Its difficult to try to point out where a buck bed within this given area would be without knowing what the "external factors" in my previous statement are.

    I get it If I post the aerial people would be able to find that public spot a lot easier. I know a couple of guys on hear work by terrain alone and I was hoping they would chime in but I found the bedroom on Tuesday thanks for the reply

    Sorry...I would have looked it over, but I can't really tell anything about the terrain with that map.
