Manti Te'o's Dead Girlfriend a Hoax

I believe this is probably close to what actually happened.

 

I have actually met Manti and have been around him several times... I would put a lot of money down saying he was not appart of this at all. Manti is just too trusting and fell into someones sick joke. This is a great honest person that now people doubt because he fell for the biggest hoax most people have ever heard of... Just my 2 cents

Then he is pretty damn dumb/naive. I still think he found out at some point, but was embarrassed to admit it. How did he not ask more questions about her death/funeral? Did he or did he not meet her?

Anyone saying Manti didn't have a part in this is as naive as they think Te'o was being.

Let's be real for two seconds, he HIMSELF has said he met her. Multiple times. He said he talked to her every night as she was in the hospital dying. The girl that was used for his "girlfriend"s photo on Twitter was NOT his girlfriend, nor was she in on it. She was the one who blew the whistle on the whole thing when she saw her own pic being used on a famous dead girls twitter account.

Manti for whatever reasons unimaginable made her up with the dude from LA (who was Manti's guest at the USC game) and then later snowballed it into a huge story about overcoming adversity to overhype his season.


There are waaaaaaay too many proven lies that came from Manti himself for him to have not known what was going on.
