Because it's not. I can aim for the femoral, throat, brain, left eye, you know. Hell, I imagine one could kill an animal by hitting them in the hoof.

When you boil it down every potential shot has the extreme possibility for a botched outcome. Given a comfortable distance and an extensive knowledge on the vital system where does one draw a distinguishing line?

What credentials do you have to tell someone it is not a viable option for a shot? Would you shoot through a 12" gap at a broadside deer?

Broadside gets me both lungs and possibly the heart, at worst liver. As good as the odds get......the highest percentage shot.

 

I'd like to add that the success percentage is not 2 for 2. It's actually 3 for 3. We've yet to include the video we're actually debating.

So, I think that makes the shot percentage something like 3,000,000%.

Both my grammar and my math suck, but I'm still right.
