    Who wrote that?
Also depends on the shot. If the Bull comes in to fast and gets hung up in a face off.. obviously it would be hard to get to Full Draw. If one can get drawn prior to the face off and there is a staring contest (I always win these) fire. No difference in center punching or the broadside shot, the world is round and things spin, jump, kick, and duck. There is only one boiler room and many ways to send an arrow there.

This is from an article written by a guy that actually advocates the frontal shot......even he admits it is EXTREMELY limited and wouldn't recommend it to 80% of bow hunters to even attempt.

It's a website and the Google search was given multiple times already. Try reading the thread.

Which comes back to my point. Each person needs to make the best decision based on the skills they possess and the situation they find themselves in.

Ok... Seems as how you like to be the director, and grammar prick, please direct me to where I said everyone should take this shot? The only thing I have argued in this thread is that it is a highly lethal shot under the right circumstances. I do NOT go out looking for a frontal shot opportunity, but if it presents it self I will take it. I do not pass on a broadside shot looking for a frontal. Frontal shots are a viable option for a lot of guys who are bow hunting elk, 9 out 10 hunters would agree (see what I did there?). If the shots are kept to a reasonable distance, under 15 yards IMHO, it's a great opportunity.

The fact that you argue on a shot that you yourself have never been presented on an animal that you have never hunted and further yet have probably never seen in the wild is laughable at best.

With this, I am again and completely going to with draw from this conversation with you. I'll stick to having a conversation with people who do enjoy learning and discovering. It's (again) obvious that your mind will not be swayed and that you have little to no life. Seriously, get off Google.

Also, I would also hate for a banning to be the result and for everyone to be stuck with you again. I do miss Bruce.

With that, I will kindly ask you to **** off. Don't worry, I still remember that YOU'RE a clueless *** hole:wave:

Exactly, like I stated in the other thread, there is a time and a place.

    Also, you would also???

Bye........Be a man and keep your word this time ;)

Your grade school grammar and name calling makes it difficult to have a reasonable discussion anyways. You have shown no proof whatsoever except anecdotal (sorry, you can look it up on Google ;) ) cases and ignored EVERY bit of evidence given that goes against your opinion.

Open your mind a bit and don't be so thin skinned.........hopefully you will learn something that might save you and an elk from suffering through a poor shot selection.

    Dude.......get off BING man!!!

I love elk sounds. When I was in Montana we saw tons of elk, some moose, black bears, bobcats, antelope by the boat load and whitetails like roaches.

Not too many dull hours on stand in Montana.

    Cool video.
