I currently have a man made watering hole, it's a plastic container that holds around 15 gallons and is buried in the ground. In an area with no slope so runoff doesn't replenish it. I have to go and fill it up about every two weeks, one in the summer. I'm getting sick of doing this so my idea is to take a 250 gallon container up there put it about ten yards from the hole and fill that with water (how would I do this I don’t know, I have ideas though) and cover it with that burlap camo stuff and run a hose from the container on the ground to the hole and attach it and leave it on a very low flow or drip to maintain a consistent water source. I don't know if the garden hose is a good idea? Or should I just go up their every couple weeks with a garden hose and attach it then fill it up and leave? I had a camera over the spot most of last year so when I went to fill the water I would swap cards in the camera, which worked nice. I would like to put a camera there again and soon. I don’t think one fill would get me threw the whole time span I would like to use it, so I would have to fill the container more then once likely. What are everyone’s thoughts on this subject looking for some ideas that might have slipped my mind?
