Just about done unpacking at the new house, as you can imagine the man cave is the last project on the list. Nothing super special compared to some of the man caves that I've seen here, but later today I'm going to finish building a stand for my Morrell Bag complete with a light on top. Once that is done, the man cave/bow shop will be complete. I'll share some pictures later today of the room when I'm done with the target stand.

Anyone in the Chicago area that needs help setting up or tuning a bow feel free to hit me up. I've got a full blown shop in the basement and I'd be happy to help when I have time. I've only got 13 yards in the shooting lane, but it's enough to figure out most arrow flight problems and work on form/shot execution.

Looking forward to the pictures. Anyone who wants work done, Matt knows what he's doing and then some. Good resource to have.

Nothing super special compared to a lot of the man caves I've seen here, but I'm about 99% done now and figured I'd post a picture. I'd like to replace the ceiling tiles still, and also ahve to assemble the weight bench and maybe a storage shelf system of some sort. Also need to build a 2x4 frame to protect the fluorescent bulb for the light setup that's going on top of the target frame.

Any of the regulars in the area that needs help setting up, tuning a bow, or building arrows........give me a shout. I work for beer and have literally everything you need to do anything archery related.

Looks good Matt. Hope I can start one in the spring, between fly fishing and bowhunting it goes from one end of the house to the other. I need to organize in a bad way.

looks fine to me... when I buy a house I will make sure it has a room, or atleast a garage that I can sort all my stuff in

Looks awesome. That's kind of what I'm imagining for a corner of my shop, when it gets built, hopefully in the next couple of years.

    Thanks everyone!!

It's funny you ask, because I really thought I was going to hate it out here. Shockingly, I really like it out here. Everything that is not Cook County is better than back home..........everything is cheaper, lower taxes, lower retail tax, more jobs, etc. Back home, if I had lost my job I'd be SOL. Out here I'm pretty sure I could make a lot more if I wasn't so attached to the company I'm with now. I'm in McHenry County and everything up here is VERY different than Chicago. I miss the Adirondacks and mountains a LOT, but if it wasn't for our family I don't think I'd ever move back to NY. We'll be back in a few years but I'm not looking forward to it.

That looks great! I've got roughly a 20 yard range in my basement, our basement isn't finished yet so it's just a big open space. If I new how to work on bows I would put me in a shop. Maybe someday. Congrats on your setup it looks awesome!
