I speak for myself here, but it's at least as much how he actually responded the morning after as to how he should respond now. He arrived at a presser/fundraiser, high-fiving, bro hugging, and then proceed to give a milquetoast passing reference to a "possible tragedy" before launching into his typically tired partisan attacks and lame jokes that are completely out of touch with the seriousness of the times. He's an outright disgrace. And it's pretty clear what happened. Russia gave the partisans portable rocket launchers to shoot down Ukranian transport planes, and imbedded FSB agents to assist with operations. The partisans used said systems to shoot down the plane by mistake. They are now doing their best to cover everything up but not so successfully. Sound about right? As to what the HMFIC should do now? Admit Ukraine into NATO, send them and Poland a crapload of tanks, and some other hard-a$$ moves that piss in Putin's cheerios. Nothing too overtly anti-Russian, just pro-American interest.

And the same could have been said for Bush during 9/11 when he got the initial details. Im pretty sure they all act the way their advisers tell them to, I don't think anyone is happy when american lives are lost.
I can see where it may seem that way when you're on the unpopular side of almost any issue that comes to discussion. Being Christian doesn't necessarily mean one has to keep their mouth shut when someone says something that's ignorant.
You should change your name to Red Herring. When GW got the news, he was in front off a room full of kindergartners. When POS got the news, he was likely on AF1 en route to the fundraiser. He had time to prepare. He could have canceled his event and gone into "Leader of the Free World" mode; except he doesn't have one. He has "Point the Finger" "Ignore the Obvious" and "Cry About Republicans" mode.
