I have no idea what happened to the plane, however I do find one thing disturbing in there were two guys that boarded the plane with fake passports. And many sources are saying, "people do this all the time". My goodness man.
MISSING MH370: Radar data suggests plane flown deliberately toward Andaman - Latest - New Straits Times this article supports the potential for hijacking (or aliens) and that the searchers may be looking in the wrong place...
Malaysian officials just announced the plane was indeed hijacked. Wow. According to them the pilots were in on it. This is all unofficial leaks from an unauthorized source of course. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
While the stolen passport dudes have been likely excluded as suspects (they were gay and escaping Iranian persecution) I still say it was jacked, but *some* nation figured that out in flight and took it out. Would explain why the Malay military and the Malay/Chinese investigators are not on the same page and keep releasing conflicting reports. I keep seeing reports that the plane flew to 46,000 feet which is supposedly "much higher" than the plane is supposed to be flown; but I haven't heard what exactly that means- would that altitude be enough to incapacitate anyone not wearing an oxygen support system? The theory being that the pilot disabled the one tracking beacon, took the flight up to 46,000ft, the passengers all pass out, then they somehow restrain all the passengers and then return to a somewhat normal altitude for their new flight path. Anyway, so military radar picks up this passenger plane that is flying WAY above commercial paths, is not responding to comms, has its primary beacon turned off, and has changed flight path erratically and may intersect with major population centers. The military would have to make sure that thing doesn't make it anywhere near land. *** after I posted this, I did some more research. So, Reuters is reporting the new flight path, which was headed straight to India. India does have AWACS planes (advanced long range early warning radar platforms) as well as aircraft carriers w/ surface to air missile capabilities as well as fighter jets... They also have cities packed with tens of millions of people, and a recent history of being attacked by jihadis. Just saying.
Not without re-fueling. (per flight range radius maps on the news; I know next to nothing about commercial airline ranges)
Who knows what to think now. Everything keeps getting flip flopped around. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
And it's official... Hijacked! With a really cool graphic of how radar detects and airplane... /rolls eyes http://mobile.nytimes.com/2014/03/1...ines-flight.html?smid=pl-share&_r=4&referrer=
Bizarre... I am going with a highjacked plane that eventually ran out of fuel and attempted a water landing without exploding but sunk after breaking into large pieces. The debris that should have been scattered went down with the fuselage. Or someone's government is covering up more than is possible.
when an authoritarian government has control of the media, there's no such thing as an impossible cover up.
ummm, if you think airlines are secure: Amanda Seyfried takes to Twitter to call for tighter airport security after she accidentally brings her Swiss Army knife on a plane | Mail Online oops. Never underestimate the ineffectiveness of bureaucracies.
$$$ gets people and things into places they aren't allowed. Never underestimate a person's ability to "turn" when $$$ is involved, hence never underestimate a persons ability to get a lethal killing device onto a plane.
Something is fishy here. Somebody went to a lot of trouble disabling communication systems, working a complicated route and all, just to crash a plane into the ocean.
I don't believe for one second that a country like Malaysia had to wait a week to get probable cause to search this pilot's residence. This is the same country that caned that American kid back in the 90s for graffiti, and since then doesn't exactly have a stellar record for protecting/respecting civil rights. And they're "just now" finding out that the pilot's family moved out of the residence 1 day prior to the flight? whatever...
Indeed fishy. But I was chatting with my neighbor an aircraft mechanic who specializes in avionics, said it's simple. Pull a cannon plug or two that's all it takes. He went onto say that both Boeing and Airbus have computers that log info on the aircraft, via satellite uplink...without the info from Boeing, Malaysia et al would still be looking in the ocean northeast of their country.
Prior to Boeing coming forward with info there was no/little probable cause to warrant a search. Also the country that did the caning was Singapore...A friend explained this to me. He said you basically had to buy a permit to buy a car there for ~250k, then buy the car, and you could only keep the vehicle for 5 or 7 years, then you had to turn in the vehicle and restart the whole process. Nuf said vehicles there are treasured possessions...Some punk kid defaced a treasured possession and well...
