I have a plastic doe decoy that I've never had any success with. in the past (20 years ago) i used a buck target and had bucks come right up to it. So I'm thinking about turning my doe decoy into a buck decoy. has anyone ever done this before? The decoy I have is FLAMBEAU MASTERS SERIES BOSS BABE DOE DEER DECOY. I thought about buying one of those cheap Christmas reindeer headbands that holds over the top of your head. thoughts, or other ideas? I have some antlers laying around, but I'm not sure as to how to mount them without using glue.
I have thought about this myself. I have a Tink's Miss November and she has actually had a few bucks get interested, but the does just blow at her and stomp and bob their heads. It is actually kind of funny to watch. I went to the local halloween costume store to buy some antlers but they were out. I thought I was crazy for thinking of this, but maybe great minds think alike?
I never thought about halloween clearance section. May have to look myself. but finding a Christmas one will be easy to find considering every store has had Christmas stuff out since 4th of July lol.
