I believe i have a pretty good idea for a blog, that would see lots of traffic, and to my knowledge hasn't exactly been done yet. my question is, is there any way to make money from a blog? i have researched and about the best way is from google adsense, but that requires people to click on the ads, to earn any money, which seems a little far fetched to happen even with a lot of traffic. i dont know many people who click on ads on websites or blogs. is there any other way to make money?
HA HA, figured that wold be coming. but summer time, i have some free time, and usually spend it on the internet anyways, figure that it may be a way to make a couple bucks instead of just waste all my time.
Getting a Blog to see enough traffic to make any money off it is very, very difficult. You need tens of thousands of people a week to come through to make it worth any advertiser's while. PS - Google is a multi-billion dollar business who derives their revenue almost exclusively from people clicking on those ads you say they don't click on. So whatever you think you know about the Internet and advertising, you need to forget.
im not saying no one clicks on ads. im saying not many people that would be on my blog would click on the ads, like me for instance the only time i have clicked an ad on this website has been on accident. i just simply do my product searching elsewhere. so i do agree with yo that i wouldnt have enough traffic to get the ads clicked enough. i was just unsure if there was any other way to make money off of a blog.
