Hey everyone kind of random but its a question needing help / an answer. I go to college in California and have always been into the outdoors, hunting, fishing etc. What would be a perfect major for me to maybe look into that has something to do with all of those? Ive been looking into geology, etc. but dont know to much. Any help? thanks

    P.K.

Environmental Engineering should be one. Have you tried talking to a counselor at the college?

Also you go to the Thousand Oaks Private School?

I major in Biology (with an Ecology and Evolution emphasis) and it gives me plenty of time with wildlife and in the outdoors.

I'm like boof, with a little more specialization. I am a junior in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. You get more then enough time in the outdoors!

I absolutly love it. But to be honest it doesn't have much to do with wildlife but it does deal with landscapes, topomaps, how the land was shaped and formed plus most of the work is outside. Its a great major if you love being outside

I go to South Dakota State University and I'm majoring in Wildlife/Fisheries and biology science. Great program that basically lets you do all those things.

Awh just not a lot of outdoorsman down here. I was carrying my bow from my apartment to my car one time and a kid asked me "Is.... is that thing for hunting?" Those who do hunt are mostly Bone Collectors, or at least the sticker on their trucks say so.

When you were going for your geology major, was it difficult courses to take throughout college? or was it not to bad?

No major is difficult if you study for it.
