I was wondering if anyone on here has been to an outfitter in Maine on a bear hunt? If so, do you have an outfitter you recommend or recommend against? It's hard to find good outfitter reviews online so i wanted to try asking the guys and girls on here. Thank you in advance!!

ive heard good things about cedar ridge oufitters and depending on where your planning on going a guy named ron stanley in caratunk is pretty good. i have never gone beer hunting or been guided but i do hunt the area and have heard people talking

Hey cmonsta. What area are you thinking about hunting. Do you want to bait or use dogs. Which season I know they have spring and fall? If it's the forks area I could recommend some really nice places to stay and talk to the owners. Another really good place and guide is at bull dog camps google it. Never heard a bad story about that place and prices were really good!!!!

Yes as dmen said, we do not have a spring bear hunt unless you are native american hunting on native american land.

sorry I have not checked the site in a few days. I will look up bull dog now. I am open to any area in Maine, so anything you have can and will help. I want to do it over bait, not into the dog hunt myself. Thanks guys and keep the info coming!
