After reading (extensively) the internet and Dr. Ashby’s reports, I decided to start with Magnus 2-bladed Stinger broadheads. They got mounted last night and shot this evening. Was I impressed! I had to stop shooting them at the 40 yard mark for fear – justified- of arrow damage (too many funny sounds $$$). No tinkering, no…NONE…nada, sight adjustments whatsoever. Pity those unsuspecting ungulates. Uncle Ted knows whereof he speaketh.
They are a great shooting head. I tried them the first time this year and killed a Doe with the 4 blade Stinger. It did the job!!!!
I am going to try the 4 Blades this year also. I also have some Grimm Reapers that I might use and have also been looking @ the Rage's. But Stingers 1st
I took a doe last year with a 2 blade and another doe this year with a 4 blade. They shoot VERY well for me. I've also had a bad experience with the 4 blade on an elk, I'm certainly not blaming the head, just wanting to point out that NO head is above leaving a poor blood trail.
