I made an old thread talking about these heads but i seen the raw power of it tonite. I was changing my site and had some loose arrows on the floor, my 9 yrs old came running through the house not paying attention and barely glanced his foot across the main blade it laid him open. scared the **** out of me but he was alright.nasty cut though! i mean he barely touched it and it opened up like a zipper.I know when it hits an animal at over 285 fps its over with ! if I aint grey headed b4 then lordy!

    Hope the kid's O.K.!!!

I shot my first Stinger last summer, no tuning since pre-turkey season, 290 fps and they were right with my field tips. Combine that with the lifetime warranty and I don't see how you can go wrong?

Brad, the Stingers are scary sharp out of the package, great broadheads with or without the bleeders! I prefer them with the bleeders!

    Joe,

I was thinking about ordering them to find out but this put me over the edge. The four blade model (2 bleeders) it is. I like the thought of having 0.040 blades with a lifetime warranty.

I cant say for sure.I sharpened mine as soon as i got them out the package they must be though b/c i only hit it a few times and i seen the results on my boys foot and he barely grazed it .I mean no lie it laid his poor little foot wide open and he was bleeding real good i could only imagine on a deer at close to 300fps
