I currently shoot an hha optimizer. I am wanting to get a 2x or 4x lens for it. My question is would i still be able to shoot with both eyes open or would i have to start closing 1 eye?

Look up bindon aiming concept. It talks aboit how your eyes will seem like they focus together and see one object while only one eye is looking through a lens. And I can tell you from personal experience that it won't make a bit of difference. I've only noticed it hindering me on rifles at around 12-15X. I try to shoot both eyes open on everything, makes it less of a hassle to transition.

no problem, my 2X lens has been great, it definately clears the target area up just enough to make it worthwhile. confidence builder too.

best of luck with it, i know i like mine and wouldnt trade it for anything. im thinking of getting the 4X for something like a target or 3D lens. im keeping the 2X for hunting. theyre kinda pricey, about $90 depending on where you get it, but like i said before, well worth it.
