Well after 1850 miles and 3 days on the road, I now live in Texas. Albeit an extended stay motel until we buy a house. Now I'm just waiting to start working.

Good luck with your new endeavor. It takes stones to move like that unless you are in dire straights. What kind of work are you looking for? Any leads prior to the move?

I actually moved here because I have a job. I ran a Scheduling department in Sacramento for a subsidiary of an international bank, now I am going to be working for a US bank doing the scheduling for 23 call centers (a larger project).

I am just hoping the house in California sales quick to get the wife and girls down here.

Welcome to the greatest state in the US!

And don't listen to Hooker, he's just mad because he was born 100 miles to far to the east

Been a fan for over 30 years Rick so no need to change.

Had the first day on the job, had to go to Irving to observe a deployment of the new system. Was given additional responsibilities and met some of my employees went pretty good, now I have to brush up on part of the system I haven't run in years.
