I made it home from the latest version of the Bowhunting.com GTG. This was by far the biggest and best one to date. We had a great turnout for the event. I know there were a few people I didn't get to meet, but I made a bunch of new bowhunting friends this weekend.

The weather on Friday night wasn't the best, it sprinkled most of the night after 11:00. Just enough to make sitting around the bonfire uncomfortable. We still had a nice turnout at the campgrounds. Even Jim Fergus made an apperance for a little while. After all this is his event. The weather on Saturday for the events was perfect tho. Cool temps with off and on clouds. Great for all of the shooting competitions.

Congrats to all of the winners of the events and the raffles. Of which I won neither. I think there were maybe 3 tickets left in the bucket on the raffle and mine and dubbya's were both still in there. Oh well I had enough fun without winning anything.

It was nice to meet a bunch of our sponsors at the meeting on Friday and the GTG too. Tink's, Monster Raxx, Lone Wolf Tree Stands, NAP, and Pine Ridge Archery Products all donated goodies to the raffles and had representatives there all weekend. It was great to meet all of you guys.

Can't wait till next year. It's gonna take quite a bit to top this years.

Is this G2G at the same place every yearand around the same time? I would love to try to make plans to make it next year. I am new to the forum and to bow hunting period and would love to meet some of you guys. Maybe I could round up a few Carolina boys to go with me.
