Again, viruses prevalently targeting PCs right now. Macs are good for the moment since there arent as much out there.
Ive seen people spend $1500 on a laptop because it was TOP OF THE LINE. Then they go to college and surf the internet and use MS Word. I was like really, my $500 dell does all the same things.
Again, I use both, I own both, and I work extensively on both from basic handheld devices to servers and storage devices on both platforms. Both are great for different people. One isn't better than the other unless you start comparing cost. They can both do the same things in 95% of tasks and programs. I've been messing with computers my whole life and working on and with them for well over half. And I am still a firm believer that 9 out of 10 computer issues no matter the OS are related to human errors or decisions. My favorite PC is 8 years old. I'd stand it up against any new computer. I might be a couple seconds behind in booting and opening programs but it will fly once it's running.
Just got everything set up and ready to rock! First thing I did on my brand new, more powerful, sleeker, cooler looking machine was... .. take funny pictures of myself in Photo Booth.
Macs have been around for over two decades. Don't you think programmers could make a virus in 20 years?
You should really read theother posts before making this remark. If you think that Macs cannot get viruses then you are really stupid.
If you think that Macs do commonly get viruses like a PC, then you are really stupid. So...there is that. (See how easy it is to belittle another by twisting their post?)
