Got back in at about 1:30 this afternoon. Beautiful day and saw a nice lone doe at about 10:45. She walked the only place around me that I couldn't shoot and kept on going into the thickest brush around. Before full light I heard a few coyotes out and about. All in al a great yet frustrating day, can't wait to get out again. I was looking to go out Wednesday but it looks like weather will prevent that from happening so Friday it is!

Harvested 2 nice does today in the morning, went again tonight, saw something big walk right outside my shooting lane. Wouldn't take a bad shot, no idea if it was a buck or doe. Everybody be safe out there, hope we will get colder temps soon.

Funny you say that, my last professor cancelled class so I hustled out to my stand I got there at 1:30 and didn't see a single deer. But it was gorgeous out no rain whatsoever. Squirrel count had to be 50+ haha

saw a big doe w/ a HUGE button buck! lol
I have a very large mature frequenting the area along with a couple 2.5 year olds. All nocturnal, but there.. I don't want to screw myseld and am hoping the big 6 comes in one of these sits... he's at least a 4.5 year old.. or older.. going down hill.. but I'll gladly shoot either of the other bucks as well ;)

Not my deer but I am in the photo...My cousin shot this buck last night dragged him out this morning...We're thinking he's 4.5 gnarly tuft on his head big "roman nose"...short tined but a solid body...18.5 inch spread...dressed out at 180lbs!
