Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum but thinking that im gunna start spending a decent amount of time here :] This is my first post and im looking for some help.

I just purchased a LW Assault 2, did so because Im 5'10 and only weight 140lbs.. and my "Big Game" stand weights like 18 lbs... and lets just say I dont have the upper body strength to safely put that heavy of a stand up by myself.. anyways.. Im super happy with this stand except.. my platform leveler does not seem to work how my instruction manual states it should.. I am supposed to loosen and tighten down the 2 knobs after I make my level adjustment. well.. my 2 knobs are not budging. they are loose in the aspect that I can easily change my level adjustment, but I cannot twist the two knobs.... period... so im looking for some help here? they either changed the way this works on their new stands, or out of the factory mine are way to tight to loosen (which doesnt make sense because if they were tight I wouldnt beable to easily move the leveler) or.. im a complete tool and im missing something...

    any help would be awesome!

Did you try getting a wrench onto both knobs? Might be able to muscle them "loose". I have an Alpha from last year, and mine tighten and loosen no problem.

They may have "jammed" tight. Take a wrench and tighten if the adjustment bolt is loose in the assembly. Email me at [email protected] if you have any further issues.

I would say jammed as well - try the wrench (obviously when you are on the ground) I have no problem hand loosening & tightening

Yea, i just checked mine, they spin just fine. Wrench down on yours like they say but don't mess up the plastic that they are made out of.

Thanks for the help guys, after looking at how the assembly works and taking a wrench to it I figured out what the problem was. the knobs were actually backed out (loosened) way to hard against the bolt. so when I was trying to loosen them... I should have been tightening them.

    thanks for the help again!
