A guy is interested in trading me a pre China era LW alpha with footrest for my muddy vantage. What is a fair value of the Lone Wolf?

The few I've seen on Craigslist have been in the $140-180 range.

Ok. I think I'm going to make the trade. I paid $160 for my muddy a year and a half ago so I'm not sitting too bad. Gonna get it tomorrow afternoon. Thanks Fotz!

I'd make that trade regardless. The alpha is the better stand. :p

I just got the LW and it's in surprisingly excellent shape. Just a few scratches as expected on the painted bar. The platform and seat are in brand new condition. I attached my sticks to it and it feels lighter than my muddy did with the 4 sticks. It carries so nice. Can't wait to use it!

    You'll never turn back.

Had my Assault and sticks since '10. Love the run and gun style it allows me to do. If I ever win the lottery every stand I have would be a Lone Wolf. They are just so easy and safe to attach to the tree.

I was AMAZED by how much bigger the alpha feels over my muddy vantage. The specs were almost the same but the lone wolf is more of a rectangul the whole way to the tree where the muddy narrowed out more the closer it got to the tree.

I love the look and feel of this stand and wished I would have spent the extra money when I was buying a new stand. I already want another one for when my wife hunts with me! Haha.

I bought an Assult II for my kid this season. I thought it would be best for him as he has a small frame and shoe size. That and it weighs next to nothing. I liked it so much I've been using it for my run and gun setups where I have a long walk in.
