Bought a new camera and a scent dripper. Going to hang it tomorrow. 1st time ever using a dripper. Do you guys have any luck with them? Any help with setting one up I'll take it.

I've used them in the past with great success, spray it down good with scent killer after touching it. I also like to put preorbital gland scent directly on the outside of the dripper

I use either active scrape, tinks 69, or any other "all season" scent. Preorbital is the most important part of.my mock scrapes. Right now when it's warm I'll freshen it up once a week (don't be afraid to urinate in it yourself, it works) once I start getting pictures of bucks and does utilizing it I'll stop freshening it unless activity ceases. The primary goal is to turn a specific area into a community gathering area or check point. Once it's socially accepted by deer your work is done, they will keep.it fresh for you

I haven't refreshed this spot or even moved the drip bag and so far every time I've gone in there the spot is still bare dirt, they have used it most of the season. Rather than move it I decided to make a line down to where I moved my stands approximately 80 to 100 yards down, now I have 3 mock scrapes in a row that deer will come through and check out before moving to the next. I use Atleast two different scents in each to ensure it becomes used by multiple deer.

Placed a camera and dripper at this spot. Going to be an observation spot where I can try different scents to see how the deer respond. If I do get an east wind I could hunt it.

IMG_1265.jpg IMG_1264.jpg I have access to a few stands where they guys were caught on camera. It is great to teach kids that want to share their hunting spots

The rabid squirrel's huh? Well, among all the genius in this world, [THAT] was the best choice for you folks. I'm sure acorns everywhere are trembling with fear.
