Well some not so good news-

Was driving to a buddies to shoot bow today and some lady pulled out in front of me, I swerved to miss her but ended up going into a bean field and rolling. My car is totaled, I'm okay but hopefully I can get my bow checked on and sighted back in before Saturday! Never a dull moment!

Holy #$%^! Never mind the bow! Like Camo said, get checked out. Glad to hear you are fine so far. Honestly, health and family and #1. You will need to get a taxi every Saturday for hunting :)

I got into the woods today. Checked 3 cameras and hung three more stands. One is in a very hot spot, I have pics on the cam every couple days. Mainly doe during the day however, a 4, spiker and shooter 6 on film. My other stand which I really love the location, had 4 pics of doe over the course of almost 30 days in the woods. That is terrible. Need to think about this stand for early season, maybe once the acorns really start to drop it will be a producer. Uncles camera had a malfunction so, no pics! Darn.

Very true!! Yes I went and got checked out, no signs of a anything, if my headache continues I will have to go get retested for a concussion, a little banged up and sore but I think I'll make it!

New property! Land owner says they have been seeing a big buck every morning near the barn. It's all corn currently and the last fields to get cut. Orange x is where I put a cam today and green ones are stand locations. Trails are wide and deep!

In the trail cam pics below you can see that I have a 3 legged doe! Tripod is her name and she's a target deer if she sticks around!

Looking good Billy. That pond at the top, east side of the woods, looks really good. Not on your side is it?

No unfortunately, but I do have permission to retrieve downed game from that side. Where the orange x is is where they come in by way of a dried drainage ditch with a fence that's down right there. Perfect pinch point. The corn on that corner is super low and you can see where deer have been sparring and using the same trails constantly. Very excited to do a card pull and get my stand in

    Good luck!

I walked out this morning and could see me breath. What a good feeling, hope it keeps cooling off for Oct.

Season started here in Kansas today but I had to work late. Looking at going out tomorrow evening and trying to put a slick head on the ground that has been showing up on camera nearly every evening at 7:30. Freezers getting low and I need to restock! Also bought a new crossbow for my daughter today so she can enjoy some archery hunting this year after an unsuccessful youth season.

I went out after work yesterday. Didn't see a thing. Neighbors were running ATVS for about an hour or so. Checked the cams when I got home and they are all nocturnal at this point.
