Had the big one I'm after come in just before shooting light Saturday morning. Didn't hang around long enough to see through the peep. Yesterday morning I had the split brow eight come in around 7:30 and wouldn't come any closer than 45yds through the woods. Watched 3 does this morning before heading into work.

Shotgun season is finally over. Always a happy time for me. Get back to the hunting that I enjoy so much more. I did go shotgun hunting this season. Shot a 9 point buck that could have used another year. He had one nice side, but the other was busted up.

Too many deer injured and I was guilty of one that I must have hit the leg. I feel like for me personally. .....I make a lot better decisions bow hunting. I'm more confident shooting a bow because I spend a lot of time doing.

Going to Michigan for a week to see my wife's family. Then I'll have until Jan 10. Feels like a brand new season and I can't wait. Hoping for some snow.

Sounds like we have some opportunities still left. Good luck out there. Everyone have a good holdiay.

It would be nice if the scorecard would be updated. Normally it is updated much quicker than the once per month that we got this year.

Same to you. Seen a few at first light this morning when the drizzle stopped here. The 2.5 year old buck I am calling Buster showed up with a few does. Got a good look at him again and he has the potential to become a nice buck. Still waiting to see the big guy that has been showing up shortly before and after shooting time. Good luck to you and everyone else still at it.

Hoping for snow. Forecast is showing a good wind to sit on our food plot this Thursday. Also showing a high of 14. That might help get a buck up early. Will be the first time I can get out again.

Have until the 10th to hunt. Another deer would really help for contest. Trying to get some shooting in while at in laws and it has been tough to get out. Plans are always made. Feeling like a caged animal. Ha.

Heading out to Property #1 this afternoon. Been getting pics of a decent 6 point and some does. Whatever shows up today, I am letting an arrow fly. I am hunting the Big Boy (FullHouse) next week. Suppose to cool down quite a bit tomorrow and Friday I will be after him.

The snow is flying back home. Should really help the deer come to our food plot. I might be putting up a last minute tree stand if I can't get a buck close enough to box blind.

What's the report of those that have been out? I'm going crazy sitting inside all day. Need hunting interaction through others. I may have issues. Ha.

My dad shot tonight in a bale blind I made last year. Made it to a bow shop today and bow is still dialed in.
