Sorry guys, I looked until 1 am that night for the buck. Not much blood. We tracked for over a mile going on pin drops of blood. I called the landowner were we think he went after losing the trail and was denied permission to look. Been a ****ty week, sorry I didn't update.

Competitive! I love me some good ole competition! yeah I wanna win! lol I want it bad! now everybody go shoot something! lol I got a doe, we are gonna blasting now till dec. 1 then its 4 days of archery followed by two weeks of muzzle-loader, if I can get a buck with my bow it will probably be the last week of December. If I don't have any shooters on cam then i will take a second doe to get us another 50 points, we are in this thing, lets all push it over the hump to get the win. It may take 1300 points to do it! but we can get it done!

We were 6 properties away from where I shot him. Didn't ever expect to need permission to trail on that ground.

Hitting my stand in the morning before work. We've got another cold front moving in tomorrow night. Seems like I see the most activity when it's close to freezing on the urban property. If the albino buck comes in, I'll probably take him if given the opportunity. After talking with numerous people, I've come to the conclusion of not letting him walk. With gun season opening this weekend someone will shoot him if I don't. Really want to let him go a couple more years, but I have a feeling it wouldn't happen. Plus that would be a once in a lifetime deer no matter the antler size.

To me that is the dumbest rule and permits people to waste deer. Our farm wouldn't be much for hunting with those rules. We have two fingers that come out of neighbors onto our land. Luckily neighbors are all friendly. In Iowa we still have the right to trail deer onto other people's property without a weapon.

I guess the rule and the person that won't allow you onto their land both upset me on things like this.

I'm amazed at some states rules and regulations.

Had a small buck right under me just before camera light. About 20 mins later had a button buck and doe come in. Too bad I have to be at work in 45 mins.

Gun season starts here tomorrow as well. Hopefully it will push them to the little sanctuary that I hunt. Haven't hunted with a gun in about 10 years and don't plan on changing.

Couldn't tough it out in the cold with not much happening. Gun season is on for sure in Wisconsin. Stopped over to cabelas quick and it was pretty busy for 11 on a Friday. Lots of orange flying around.

I'm trying nose jammer. My buddy has been trying to get me to try it. I got busted by little buck this morning downwind. He used it when he shot the 150 inch buck I had videos of and he was downwind.

I'm very skeptical because it smells like vanilla. Feels out of place for the woods. I'll be sitting in my dad's treehouse this afternoon. It has a heater in it. I'm a wuss.

Good luck for those out gun hunting or bowhunting. Now expecting 3-10 inches here.

Only thing I use is DDW. No cover scents. All three this morning came directly down wind of me and never knew I was there. The small buck even followed my trail right past my hang on.
