    Checking in.

Background....been bowhunting for 5 years. Hunted all my life. 35 years old. Married with no kids at the moment. Lucky to have a really good area to hunt that is what we call our home farm. Two small little fingers come up out of a huge timber that isn't hunted very hard. We own the two little fingers. I also have a great neighbor that as of last year allowed me to bowhunt his ground.

Went out yesterday to put 2 trailcams up. 1 new one wouldn't turn on, so only have one up so far. I'm going elk hunting with bow in Idaho Aug 30 - Sept 12. Been putting a lot of time into that and deer hunting has been on the back of mind. As soon as I get back things will be back to normal as far as only focusing on deer.

Shouldn't be a problem to get a doe. I'll try to only shoot something over 140 for a buck which means I get end up with a zero. I reserve all rights to have ground shrinkage and shoot something smaller though.

I'm fine with any team names, colors, banners, graphics, etc. Sam my man is good to me for captain.

This is buck picture from last year. I saw him alive this spring so he should be around. I have his sheds from 2 years ago. Couldn't find them this year. I put on over 20 miles searching and nothing.

I believe this next deer is around because I didn't hear of anyone getting it, but I can't be for sure. This is the spot where I was putting camera up and it wouldn't turn on. Not real happy. I believe this is his core area. I think he is young with great genetics. We'll see if video works from photobucket.

    2012 buck below.

These are my best ones. Other two years were 130. My first year that wasn't ground shrinkage. 2013 it was for sure.

I also think a big 8 might still be around. Never heard of him being shot. He was probably close to 140 last year.

That's all I have for now. Looks like a good team. I figure pictures are always better to see and get us jacked up for the fall hunting season.

Here are some better and more recent pics from Property #1. I pulled this card earlier today.

Man you guys have some nice bucks on cams. I hope I have something show up that's worth chasing. If not I'll go after whatever with my longbow. I'm not as picky when I'm hunting with it.lol

We can kill 4 bucks and 2 does here in Eastern NC. If I kill one of these first, I am going to wait and see when I kill the big one on Property #2 before I put a buck down for score here.
