Sorry to hear about the rain. 43 degrees right now at 9 in the morning. Highs in 60's. Should be a few good days of hunting tomorrow through Sunday. Cooler than normal this time of year. Pretty excited. Might get them up a little earlier. Not a hard cold snap, but some deer will hit the ground this weekend. Get out there and hit some vitals. Good luck.
58 degrees here in Wisconsin today ...it's suppose to be like this all week here Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
Awesome temps guys, deer should be moving! It has been raining here since last Thursday and we have Heavy Rain coming for the next 3 days.
Good luck the next couple days out there guys! I might get out Saturday. Lows in the 40s and high of 57
this cold front hit here yesterday, our high tomorrow is 57 degrees. the last two nights with and east wind i have watched a big 9 pt feed under a white oak on the edge of the soybean field behind my house. he approaches the stand from the NE, I am gonna slip in there mid day tomorrow and hang a stand right beside it, come home shower and get right back up in it. If he does the same thing three nights in a row it will be a mistake. super excited to get in the tree!
Got a couple more videos of this guy. I know this is his area. Winds don't look good to try to hunt him this weekend. Showing NE and ENE. East or SE is perfect for the stand I have right by him. My stand location is in the treeline you can see across 10 year ground. 50 yards from the camera location. I'm really pumped because he is showing himself in the day. Last year he almost always came out after dark. http://vid1286.photobucket.com/albums/a617/scarps23/Big Boy_zps3zaaiizj.mp4 http://vid1286.photobucket.com/albums/a617/scarps23/Big Boy 2_zpsshigxhbv.mp4
Put a buck and a doe on the ground this morning in Illinois. Forgot to score the deer before I dropped it off it processor. Once I get it back I will score him
Well got a great eater doe on the ground this evening in Illinois as well! I'll get it posted tomorrow when I am on my laptop
Congrats white cotton. Looking forward to seeing pics. I got mine posted on the score board so that is taken care of.
Good start for our team. We need to keep up the good work. Getting a doe is the easy part. Now begins the task of putting down a good buck
heading out tonight again, but this wind is crazy blowing! I may just crawl up in the rifle stand and enjoy the evening with a good view! you never no, I have shot some good deer with my bow from it in the past!
