As the season begins I was wondering what everyone's opinion on using the lunar phases or weather to determine the best hunting times?

Weather trumps lunar phase for sure. But that doesn't mean I disregard lunar phases. If I have to choose between days with the same or similar forecasts, I'll definitely choose the one with a more ideal lunar time.

Well hunt as much as you can. If the moon position is over head in the morning or the evening and you have a cold front roll in make sure you don't miss a day like that. Good weather conditions have a greater impact on deer movement than the moon. I still pay attention to both. If both are good, I'm going to try and make sure I'm out there.
