    1. If they are legal in your state, absolutely
    2. No. They are are all size specific for the most part
    3. Not a lot, no. They will change your FOC to an extent, however.

If you are going to shoot them make sure you pratice with them and tune for them on your arrow prior to the season. You can't trust it to just slap them on and go hunting.

I tried them for a while during my first bowhunting season. I got rid of them pretty quickly. The problem I repeatedly had with them is that they kept cracking or splitting after a few shots. I'm shooting 70# and my arrow weighs 510 grains and that may have something to do with it, but two partial dry-fires due to a split nock was enough to make me give them up and go with white wraps with white blazers. That works just as well for me.

If you film they are a must in my opinion. There are different manufactures that make all different types of lighted nocks so do your research. They do weigh a little more but not enough to drop your pins at 40 and in. Almost every company carries different diameter nocks to fit each spine arrow

Definetly a great thing to add to your arrow.
I used the lumenock, the tracers, and the nockternals,
I found the nockternals to be the best plus they are the lightest one out there so far. a 3 pack is around $25 so it not to bad.
here is the web site for them
