I am new to bow hunting, only a couple of years but I have always used lumenocks because I love to see where the arrow goes and be able to find it after a pass through. Two days ago I shot an 8 point right before dark at 25 yards and even though he was perfectly broadside he turned after hearing the bow and the arrow entered at the back of the ribs and went forward and stopped behind the far shoulder leaving about 12" of arrow out. No blood trail but 75 yards into the woods I could see the Lumenock shining with the arrow still in him. The broadhead broke off but amazingly the arrow stayed. I am sure that I would have never found him without the Lumenock. Ted Nugent is right when he slams whatever western state outlaws Lumenocks. How dumb is that. They don't make it any easier to hit a deer just easier to find.

Congrats on the kill. I don't use lighted nocks, but have been thinking about it.

    Yeah. Luminocks are great.

Blame the traditional bow hunting lobbiest for that law:-/

They feel it takes away from the Tradition of bow hunting. That as well as lighted sites.

I was going to join some archery clubs till I read what they were doing with the membership dues. I don't want to go off on a rant though.

Congrats. I love them. I didn't get a clean pass through on my buck this year and he ran off with the arrow in him. Once it was dark and I got down, I could not find blood at the impact site and everything looks different once you get on the ground. I'm sure I would have eventually picked up the blood trail, but we were able to locate the arrow and lighted nock about 50 yards away and from there we had no trouble trailing the blood.

It's probably the coolest thing ever to see that streak of light impact the deer. Love it.
