Just wanted to know what is your favorite item that you bring into the woods that you would never go hunting without for example a call or scent or a piece of clothing
My luck charm is a hat that i have i had killed a lot of deer and turkeys with a gun with this hat but i got a new hat when i bought a new bow. I was looking to get my first deer with a bow. So for 2 weeks straight I wore the new hat during deer season and continually deer would come into range and as i was ready to draw back they would escape by the hair on their chin. So i told my hunting buddy that im going back out with my old hat and if i shoot a deer tonight im never wearing another hat while hunting again. So sure enough we go out and 45 min later im calling him on the phone saying i just shot a doe. So from there on out i refuse to wear any other hat while hunting.

My lucky charm is not a possession...it's a day...my two best bow bucks were killed on Friday even though I have done a lot more hunting on Saturdays and Sundays.

I am never in the woods anymore without my lucky compass. a couple months ago, or maybe more, I was home and my son was playing with my compass and he wound up putting a sticker from the cars movie on the cover. I don't know if its a lucky charm or not, but I'm definately not going in the words without it. he loves seeing there pictures i take of it whenever i go in the words.

I carry an antler tip from my dad's first buck. Since he's gone now it's like a part of him is still hunting with me.

Probably my camo DU ball cap. Its the only one I wear huntin or fishin. That and the stag handle skinnin knife my father-in-law made for me. Its a treasure, and some day my son will have that and his PawPaws Winchester 94.

Maybe we should start taking a bag of lucky charms with us every hunt. Even if you dont see any deer youll still be having a blast eating them! :nana:

Idk if this is considered a lucky charm or not, but ive now killed 3 deer jamming out to "Pink Houses" by John Cougar Mellencamp on my way to the stand!!

I have a .308 bullet I "earned" while in sniper school. Commonly refered to as a hogs-tooth. Was given to me by Carlos Hathcock, the most famous sniper to ever grace the marine corps. One of the finest men I have ever met.
