I find it hilarious people are 100% pissed in agreement with you Covey....when I posted about trespassers some people got all up in arms. Only difference between a poacher and a trespasser is time.

I pray you catch the idiots and nailed the book to their freaking rear ends. Decoy sting would be sweet!

@Schuls When I was at Ft Campbell I seem to recall them being pretty good about keeping things from like that from happening. Though there were issues with people hunting in a zone someone else had reserved. I see you are at Rucker I will be heading back down there in a few months.

We caught a tresspasser a couple of weeks ago and the police like having the trail cam pics.

Covey I would keep a piece of that deer's DNA somewhere.

Neighbor found a buck on his land last year with the head cut off during slug season. Never happened to me but these stories irritate me no matter who the victim is.

I'm 99% sure it wasn't Crossbow, different farm 3 miles from where I was getting Crossbow on camera. The thing that bothers me is three miles is nothing, if they were poaching around this farm then odds are pretty high they were also hitting farms well within three miles all around it too. I have flash backs to seeing Crossbow standing on the inside edge of the fence over there when I came by that one evening and just standing there at the edge of the headlights....I still fear the worst.

Well if you have one you have the other most of the time. In this case they were both and had to cross a new five wire fence to trespass.
I think the decoy deal is going to happen, landlord gave permission.

Went out camping on our new property that has a swampy field along the road this past weekend, while we were setting up camp a truck pulled up on the road and started shining our field...I blasted him with our spot light and all they did is look back and keep creeping along, I couldn't believe it! They had to know we were right there and they spotlighted the field anyways. Now I have a cam or two facing the road.

I've honestly thought about buying a decoy not for hunting but merely as bait for the idiots we have been dealing with.....Covey I may be joining you bud. :( (not a good club to be in)

I was texting back and forth with my landlord last evening and he said he offered to buy and donate a mechanical decoy to the KDWP but I took it that they declined it? I guess they have enough of them? Anywho yeah I don't know when but they have permission to do it.

I guess we're getting new signs and like 25 new trail cams for surveillance on the properties. I think they are going to be StealthCam G42s and M-880 Moultries.
