I have been watching some DIY videos on Youtube.... They show how to make a recurve or longbow using PVC pipe.
I went out to the shop and started making my own.

I bought a 10 foot length of 1" Schedule 40 PVC at the local hardware ($6.55)
A heat gun is used to make the pipe pliable, and you can shape the bow any way you want.
The most expensive part of the bow is the string, but I had a couple laying around from my other recurves.

I plan on making another bow, and fitting it for bowfishing.

Both of my children have asked me to make them a bow, and for around $7.50 each, how can I say no?!?!

I've seen some of these in action and they are no joke when done right.

Take a vid of you shooting it, I'd love to see it.

Will do!! I plan on painting them with the new Plastic spray paint to really customize them.
