Sunday last episode better do a lot of explaining ,LOL I knew Jack was going to take Jacobs job, I think Ben is playing Locke(black smoke dude)
What questions are you still wanting answered? My guess is there won't be anymore island mythology answered. The finale will be about wrapping up the story of the Oceanic survivors and merging of the flash-sideways with the island timeline.
I agree with GA, I'm not expecting many more answers, and I really don't care anymore. I just want to see some type of resolution for the main characters, and the merging of the timelines. Oh, and I want a Vincent cameo.
I want to know the smoke dudes name I agree about merging the two timelines, I am sure Desmond and Daniel are the keys to doing so. Did we ever get an anwser on the Polar Bears? How does Jacob get people to the Island Hows come jacob can get off the Island and smoke dude cannot Those are just a few
I just want to see the smoke dude crash the entire world as we know it. Thats what I am waiting for. I was kinda wanting to know the smoke dude's name myself. Jacob, and esau would be good twins.
Dharma research Jacob is special. That's probably the only answer you will be able to get. I'm not anticipating an answer to this as well...
Stuck on Island + this pic=ME returning to the neanderthal mating technique of hair dragging woman toward cave.
How about the numbers? 4 8 15 16 23 42? I know the names in the Lighthouse corresponded to numbers but is that it? Why was Walt such a big deal? Many episodes on him. Christian Shepherd? There is a lot of crap that probably won't be referenced or I might have missed something.
The Lighthouse was Jacobs. Now why the numbers were on the hatch and what not, I doubt we get an answer for that. Another one that probably won't be answered. What needs to be answered about him? He was Jack's dad... Like I said, I don't really care about most of these questions anymore. I just want to see resolution for the main characters. LOST isn't a show just about unanswered questions, it's about the characters.
True, it basically just proves that when the writers said they had this all written and thought out in the beginning, they were full of Ca Ca.
I assumed that Jacob was allowed to leave the island because he was the protector of it and not restrained by it as the Man in Black has been. Also anytime we've seen him in the island timeline it was the Man in Black. He admitted this to Jack recently. I have listened to several interviews with the main show runners Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindeloff and both have said that they had an original concept and a direction they wanted to take the show as well as what the final scene would be but when it came to all the stuff in the middle that was a different story. They have said many times in interviews that telling a story like LOST is very organic and at times takes its own direction. I have never heard them say they had it all planned since the beginning and I've listened to their podcasts since the first season.
They did crash on the island Some made it off Island, Kate, Sayer and Clare They all died at different times, and met in the after life. Hurly Stayed on the Island with Ben, Ben went to hell when he died. It was a story about redemption, Jack was the one who needed most.
I thought it was a good ending. It wrapped everything up. It was not something that blew me away, but I thought it was a satisfying ending.
I did not take this away from the finale at all. What I thought the purpose of him not going into the church at the end was because he had not found peace yet and was not ready to move on. He was still in limbo, purgatory, whatever you want to cal the sideways world.
Yeah, I got all of that as well. I like how everyone got resolution in the end. But man does that ending make the majority of the story seem kinda irrelevant. That's not how I took it. I took it as he wasn't ready to "move on" and that he was going to stay in "purgatory" longer till he found resolution.
He was never going to fine peace, is what I thought, he did to many terrible acts. Who knows, LOL Exactly, SOB
