    Anybody else watching besides me?

If so, how have you liked the final season so far?

I've been sucked into Lost ever since the series premiered so I'm ready for it to end. I almost quit watching the season before last but somehow kept tuning in. It is a very frustrating but enjoyable show. I thought last nights episode was pretty good but it just left me with more questions that need answering.

Yeah it's pretty frustrating. Just adding to the big heaping pile of questions that I don't know how they are going to answer all of them with 2 episodes left. I think it's starting to lean on the biblical side.

I just don't like that it seems the entire first 5 seasons are irrelevant now. I don't like the direction they have taken the show.

I watch it and I have enjoyed the final season. It isn't my favorite season, but I do not think it has ruined the show at all.

That's why I'm hoping they answer a lot of question this next couple of weeks.

If I would of kept notes of all the questions I have had, the list would be a mile long of answered questions. They keep saying answers are forthcoming.... I'm not seeing them.

It's not that they aren't answering questions. They've answered many questions (just not directly), it's just most of the answers are kinda, well...lame.

Like last night's explanation of the donkey wheel.

MIB: "I'm going to build this wheel to connect to the light and the water, and it's going to take me away"
Mom: "How do you know that?"
    MIB: "I just know."

    WTF?

So did everyone else take away from the last episode that the mother was a smoke monster?

I watched 04' and 05' seasons, but I missed a few episodes and was LOST.
I'll get'em later and catch up.

Yes I believe she was a smoker also, it also exaplained why the knife can kill the smoke monster and Jacob. What I don't get is the speaking part. If he speaks to you, you cannot kill him. What the heck was in that drink?

It seemed to me that "Mother" was a mix of both Jacob and MIB. Protector of the island and a destroyer at the same time (the destroyed village and filled in hole seems to lead us to this conclusion).
