I am trying to find the fellow out there running Pinwheel software who was kind enough to run some numbers on my set-up. We were discussing shafts required to produce a FOC of 19%.

I seem to have forgotten what thread he was lurking about in.

    Thanks for your prompt response!

    Konrad

    PS
A: Easton Technical’s program gave me the 2413 shaft size for my current configuration (which works admirably).
B: To answer your question, Yes, I have read almost all of Dr. Ashby’s work and find it to be invaluable.

    Thanks again,
    KL

    Konrad,

If you post the bow, draw weight, draw length, arrow shaft, tip weight, etc.......I can help you.

    Hello Matt,

    Thanks for the reply!

    My question was:

I am currently shooting Bear Truth, 60 pounds, hard single cam at a 27 inch draw length, using a 29 inch long shaft (Easton X-7, 2413, Blazer vanes, Bohnig Super nocks and 100 grain combo-points).

What shaft spine and point weight should I be looking at (keeping the same arrow length or close to it) to achieve a completed arrow with 19% FOC?

    Thanks again,
    Konrad
