I had a link for a good website with winter satellite map views, but I must have lost it somehow? There are plenty of sites with satellite images during spring/summer, but land features are so much easier to see with the winter view. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!
In google earth you can click what looks like a clock. That will bring up a scale of time and each vertical line refers to a date that they have imagery for. I just use that to go back to the winter/early spring months.
