Lost doe

    Well I dug this thread back up. Unfortunately I found the doe dead last Friday while out hunting she had died less than 70 yards from where I shot her. My arrow was still in the carcass and the shot went through both lungs and it appeared to have hit the shoulder on the opposite side which slowed the arrow down and didn't allow for a complete pass through shot. The doe was in what was six foot tall grass before that was layed over. Found it weird that I never found much blood after the shot with a double lung shot.

    My buddy did the same thing this year and we did not find her. She is still alive and kicking. We saw her yesterday. He ended up hitting the shoulder and missed the vitals!

    I was shooting rages at 50 lb about five years ago when i was in high school and I never lost a deer. I even shot a deer straight in the guts, and it didn't run over a hundred yards. I am with the other guys though. Im assuming you hit bone.
