One of my good friends and co-workers passed on to his reward Monday night. He was the HVAC crew leader here at the university. I'm the electrical crew leader and we worked closely together. Robert recently bought a used PSE and I was helping him learn how to bowhunt. He took a shot at a pig down by the river a couple of months ago. He missed due to a branch deflecting his arrow but he was hooked. He told me he never had an adrenaline rush like that before.
His death was unexpected. He left work Monday and seemed just fine. He didn't show or call on Tuesday. Apparently a heart attack or stroke took him. We don't know yet. Robert was a relatively young man, 50 years old. He leaves behind 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Sorry to hear about your friends sudden passing.

And your right 50 doesn't seem near as old as it used to sound, especially since I passed it up last year.

Very sorry to hear this Tx. 50 is certainly way too young. You just never know really, which is why I'm trying to enjoy everyday that I have, regardless of how low key it might be.
