I don't watch X Factor, but I did stumble upon this guy who made it to the semi-finals last season. He's been playing in bands off and on for most of his life never getting discovered (not sure how). Here's two of his performances: Yet, this tool continues to sell records lip syncing live performances, flipping out in public, and oh yeah, beating women. Makes you wonder how many more deserving individuals are out there. I try to watch the Billboard, Grammy's, MTV music awards, etc., but they're just filled with no talent and terrible live performances. I think this may be one of the few positives to come from reality shows like this.
I hear ya! I haven't listened to mainstream, or even modern music for that matter, in years. I listen to classic soul, rock and older country.
