Los Angeles Rabbit Hunting

Hi guys. This is my first post. I've been shooting a recurve for half a year and was thinking about going small game hunting this summer. I live in Woodland Hills and have a friend who lives in Bell Canyon. Does anyone know if it legal to hunt around Bell Canyon? I think it's specifically the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon. I know the Angeles NF allows hunting as well.
