My 10 yr old has outgrown his 30 lb. max pull bow. I'm not up to speed on the different brands of bows and the best deals out there. My 2 boys 10 and 12 do the bowhunting. I'm looking for something in the 30-40 lb. pull. I feel the 40 lb max should hold him for a while. Do any of you have any suggestions on a reasonably price bow out there of good quality? BTW, he's a lefty.

I don't remember what the available weights are but no better bow for kids then the Diamond Razor Edge! My daughter has one and it is awesome!

I agree with this. My son has one as well and its a great bow. It will last him until he can buy his own.

Razor Edge is an awesome bow. Both my kids have them. You can get the 30-60lb model, and it will work and last them a long time! (goes from 19 to 29" draw) They do make LH, my daughter has one. Good luck!

It's been a while getting back to thank y'all for your suggestions. It sounds like the Diamond Razor Edge wins out. I found one at Bass Pro for $330 and its a package with (Includes bow, 3-pin fiber optic sight, capture arrow rest, 4-arrow quiver, braided wrist sling, and peep sight). Does this sound about right? Thanks again for your help.

Im getting my 10 year old daughter a PSE Chaos after doing a lot of research on low poundage bows. I can get a lower lb bow now, and upgrade the limbs for not a lot of money instead of buying a whole new bow a couple years later.

or u can get the razors edge and not have to upgrade limbs at all! :) 15-29 lb limbs or 30-60. that should cover things for a while :)

X2 I've set up a lot of people with this bow. It's a great bow for the money and very versatile.

My older daughter is shooting it and she loves it. I can't wait till next season when I will be purchasing another one for my younger daughter! She has shown a real interest this year in shooting so next summer will be fun!

Any ideas where to find one. I went to Bass Pro, Cabelas and even ebay, nothing. I visited Mathews website and didn't see a Mission Menace listed in their product line either. What am I missing.

Bass Pro and Cabelas are not authorized Mathews dealers.
Also they are Mission Bows not Mathews, but Mathews makes them. Think of it like vehicle makers, Mathews is to Mission as Cadillac is to Chevy.
