Looking to get into bowhunting

    Hi everyone,

    I am from Fredericksburg VA and I am looking to get into bowhunting. I thought this would be a great place to start, meet up people and get some advice and tips about how to begin this journey. Pleasure to be here.

    Welcome. You've chosen an awesome thing to try out. Bow hunting is one of the most enjoyable, humbling, and PITA hobbies all wrapped into one. You get out as much as you put in but there is also a huge “luck factor” involved. Lots of knowledge here and a great group of people who like to help others. Feel free to ask any questions.     Welcome to the forum and the passion. Best advise I can give you is to engulf yourself in it and learn as much as you can. Don't get bogged down in the mistakes(they are going to happen either way). But try to learn from others to save yourself
