Were still receiving alot of fallout from the Freak Daddy killing here. Alot of phone calls, mostly just the papers and a few local magazines. My EMT-Basic course wraps up on December 19th, and ill have the rest of the year up until February to be in the woods. I got a few late season stand sights picked out and ill be getting those ready this week.

With target #1 down, its on to target #2, what a bummer :D

Even with the Halloween buck running around, the woods are not gonna feel the same :(

Once you get back in the stand for a while you may be surprised at what walks your way. I hope you nail a big one this winter. I'll be trying to do the same. Starting Saturday, I have 4 WEEKS off. Best of luck to both of us :D

That says a lot about the quality of bucks you are hunting if Target #2 is a bummer. Good luck with him and even though the FD saga is over he gave you guys a story you'll never forget and some great family memories. The void will be filled by another buck I'm sure and try to keep in perspective how fortunate you guys are, the FD story could have ended 1000 different ways(road kill, poacher, random person nearby killed him, etc), I for one am glad it ended the way it did.

Saddle up and go kill one of those other slobs.

Good luck getting after buck number 2. It's pretty nice to have that stud be your SECOND choice. You guys definitely have some good genetics around your properties.
